Well my "sabbatical" is over but as my lovely wife pointed out I now need a rest from the rest! There was a lot of international travel especially to Africa in 2007. But it did give me time to reevaluate how I want my little footloose forays business to be. I have decided to not do anymore one day local trips except through other organizations like Pt. Reyes Field Seminars. I can not justify all the travel time, gas, and energy. I will continue to do the flagship Monday hiking series but sharing it with my good friend, Armando Quintero.

All the trips I offer in this brochure are those that I feel should be done in this lifetime. If there is a place you would like to go but I do not offer a trip that year, then please call me for information. I like to support businesses in the developing world that are socially and ecologically responsive and I can point you in the right direction for your international travel.
