Although we mostly hike in Marin County, occasionally we go further afield. Here we see the most beautiful city in the world from the slopes of San Bruno Mountain.

One of my favorite wildflowers is Pussy Ears, Calochortus tolmeii. This beautiful mariposa lily carpets the coastal hillsides in the early spring.
