In Turkish the Mediterranean is called Akdeniz, or "White Sea". Those familiar
with its beryline waters and spectacular vistas punctuated with coves,
castles and cities of the ancient world prefer to call it the Turquoise Coast.

Turkish barbers are famous for their haircuts and shaves, leaving no
unwanted hair. They even light an alcohol coated cotton swab and burn
the little hairs right out of your nose and ears.
